Artist Louise K Wilson at iRes
iRes warmly invites everyone to the talk with artist Louise K Wilson who will present her work on 24 February at 10:30 in Seminar A Rosehill Garden Studios in Woodlane.

Louise K Wilson is a visual artist who makes installations, sound works and videos. She studied BA (Hons) Fine Art at the University of Northumbria and MFA Studio Arts at Concordia University, Montreal. She is currently undertaking a practice-based PhD at the University of Derby. She has undertaken numerous artist residencies and commissions and exhibited widely in North America and Europe. Recent exhibitions include Composure at Impressions Gallery in Bradford (2008); Post-Cinema, RMIT Project Space, Melbourne (2007); Sonic Arts Network Expo in Plymouth (2007); International Film Festival Rotterdam (2005) and A Record of Fear on Orford Ness (2005). Her work explores perceptual and cultural aspects of science and technology. Processes of research are central to this practice and she frequently involves the participation of individuals from industry, museums, medicine and scientific research in the making of work.
